Initially gaining popularity in the early 60’s in the surf rock scene, the Jaguar actually went out of style and out of production during the 1970s but made a huge comeback in the punk and alt rock scenes on the 80s and 90s and now is one of the most popular guitar models in the world. This model offers classic features such as dual-circuit switching and a floating-vibrato bridge at a price that’s nearly as eye-catching as the guitar itself!

No guitar list is ever going to be complete without mentioning a Fender Strat, hands down the most iconic guitar model ever built, and the Squier Vintage Modified Strat is a great example of how you can get timeless style for a very affordable price. There have been countless variations of the Strat down the years but we love this Squier 70s style Strat which is packed with vintage style features such as the larger headstock and vintage-tint gloss neck. The all-Black model with maple neck looks absolutely stunning and can be yours for just under £300!

One of the first electric guitars to ever be produced on a mass scale, the Fender Telectaser sparked a musical revolution when it first appeared in 1950 and this Classic Vibe model highlights what it was that made the Telecaster such a phenomenon. The pine body, vintage-tint gloss neck and custom alnico-5 single coil pickups make this model stand out from the crowd and the vintage blonde finish is sure to be a head-turner. Admittedly it comes in at just over the £300 mark but vintage blonde finish and custom features make this worth guitar well worth the extra!

Squier instruments offer the trademark looks and quality of Fender guitars at a great price, but if you’re desperate to see that distinctive Fender logo on your headstock without breaking the bank then look no further than the Fender Modern Player Tele. A genuine Fender Tele for under £400 represents an absolute steal and when you see how many great features this guitar has it really is hard to believe the price. The two single coil pickups and one Modern Player humbucker offers a decent amount of tonal variety but the inclusion of a coil splitting switch, allowing you to effortlessly turn the humbucker into a single coil, makes this an astonishingly versatile guitar.
