The book is broken down in to 9 stages, and each stage introduces a new component of grade 3 sight-reading. Each stage starts with rhythmic and melodic exercises for you to practise important musical skills, and then you are guided through 2 small pieces with handy tips on how to prepare them and questions to improve your musicianship. At the end of each stage there are lots of short tunes with notated articulation, fingerings, performance directions, and dynamics, for you to prepare yourself, so you can go solo!
