The 45 exercises in this ABRSM Piano Specimen Sight-Reading Test book are all typical examples of what you will encounter in your ABRSM grade 4 piano exam, which is a piece of around 8 bars in length, in the same time and key signatures as Grade 3 (4/4, 3/4, 2/4 or 3/8 and the keys of C, G, F, D, A, Bb or Eb majors, A, D, E, G or B minors), with the addition of 6/8, anacrusis, occasional chromatic notes, pause signs and tenuto. The exercise are also marked with dynamics, performance directions, articulations, and fingerings.
